Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on the 28th of October 1967, in Atlanta. Roberts belongs to the Robertses' fourth generation who reside in the Atlanta area, starting in the family of her grand-father John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Early in his life the father of her mother became obsessed by the theatre. As a student of Emory University, he performed on stage in a number of shows in Atlanta. Following his air force service, in 1953 he appeared in an airforce production in Biloxi together with Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in 1955. Their child, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. Walter went to Tulane University at New Orleans in the year 1957, after the couple had left the US Air Force. Walter worked for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the couple moved in Decatur Georgia. In 1964, Walter as well as Betty Lou began production on the local Saturday morning children's television program known as Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded on their own. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou established The Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted 6 years. Lelisa Billingsley who is also referred to as Lisa was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
