Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October, 1967 to Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Julia Fiona Roberts is the fourth generation Roberts that resided in Atlanta. Early in his life his father became obsessed by the theater. When he was studying at Emory University in 1952 he performed in shows on campus and elsewhere in Atlanta. Following his air force service and appearing in an air force production in Biloxi with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple was married in the year. Walter attended Tulane University at New Orleans In 1957, the city of Louisiana where the couple left the US Air Force. Walter was hired by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to work on the set of the television show Bum Bum His Buddies. The show was filmed in Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou began producing a children's television program in Decatur, Georgia called Bum Bum and His Buddies. The production was funded by the couple their own. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou founded the Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted 6 years. The couple also had two children, Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also called Lisa) as well as Julia Billingsley (1967) (also known by the name Julie).
