LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30 December 1984 is a pro American basketball player. King James, he's widely considered to be the most successful athlete of all time and has often is compared with Michael Jordan during debates about the best basketball player ever. James has won four NBA championships as well as four NBA MVPs, three All-Star MVPs along with two Olympic medals. James is the NBA All-Star with most points in playoffs, with the second most points in his career total, and the seventh highest career assist total. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was chosen for his NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. He has competed in 10 NBA Finals the third most all time including eight consecutively between 2011 and the year 2018. James was picked to be a member of the NBA75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022 he became first NBA player to ever score more than 10,000 career points. James played at St. Vincent St. Mary High school in Akron, Ohio. He was hailed by national media as the next NBA super star. In 2003 it was the year that the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first during the NBA draft, as a pre-pro. He was named the 2004 NBA Rookie of Year he soon established himself as one of the league's premier players by winning an NBA MVP award in both 2009 and 2010. After failing to win a championship with Cleveland James left in 2010 by way of a free-agent to be a part of the Miami Heat this was announced in the television program The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent decisions in sports history.
