Cassie Scerbo is an American actress, dancer and singer who came into the spotlight after she was chosen for the all-girl pop-band 'Slumber Party Girls' that hosted the children's music variety show Dance Revolution on CBS in the late 2000s. Then, she gained fame for her role on Bring It On: It's In It to win It (Direct-to-Video) as well as ABC Family Drama Make It or Break It. Most notably, she played Nova Clarke in all six Sharknado movies. Her passions are sports and fitness, and she is also an active philanthropist. Scerbo dedicates significant time and energy to environmental concerns and causes that affect society, such as initiatives to raise awareness about cancer, as well as efforts to stop sex-related abuse as well as providing clean drinking water for Africans. Also, she is well recognized for her frequent visits to children's wards in Los Angeles. Scerbo was a former student from Marjory Stoneman Douglas located in Parkland in Florida. She began using her stage name Charli XCX and started going to raves. Songs were a hit in the local scene soon and she followed up with singles!Franchesckaar! And Emelline/Art Bitch. Asylum Records was her first record label, which she signed with in the year 2010. Alex Metric's vocals can be evident on the track End of the World which was released in the year 2011. True Romance, the debut album she recorded in her studio was released in April of 2013. The album received positive review. In its debut week the album climbed to no. 85 on U.K. Chart. Charli XCX got started on her second album right immediately. Fancy and the Australian singer Iggy Azalea featured her on the track. The track reached #1 in the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. Her debut album was released in December 2014. The album was a sensation worldwide. The United States it hit number 28 on the Billboard 200. The album received positive reviews. Break the Rules of the album hit the top charts in several countries. The singer announced in July 2015 that she was working on her third album.
