Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. Bolduan is most famously known as anchor of the CNN morning show At This Hour. In the past, she was a co-anchor of the CNN Monday morning show New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member of CNN's award-winning presidential election coverage for 2012. Her previous experience includes working as an Washington DC based correspondent, covering both the US House and Senate. During her membership for the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on the legislative cycle and events in the Congress, such as talks to increase the debt ceiling for federal government and the super committee discussion. Her general assignment work has included reports regarding Christmas Day, the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. The journalist began working for CNN in 2007 as a national correspondent for CNN Newsource. As an CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she reported breaking news to the 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided feature reports. Ealier she worked with NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV. Her current home is living in New York City together with her husband, two children and two grandchildren.
