Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Inspired by the shadows she observed in the earth and shadows on the ground, the artist spent months experimenting with a method that allows objects to be represented with two dimensions onto canvas. More like the image has been transformed to its own reproduction with the canvas taking its interpretation from the artist. This is especially effective when dealing with living objects or items that are perishable like people or fruits. Alexa Meade's works are fleeting and the image is what is left. Since the painting and photographic techniques are coordinated so closely, the end result is an illusion of trompe l'oeil, that creates the illusion of three dimensions can only be seen at specific points, such as the eye area or hair. Occasionally, Meade integrates her painted models into the three-dimensional world around them, allowing the models to be part of the self-created universe. Through this, Meade has removed the borders between painting, photography and the performance.
