Lis Wiehl was born August 19, 1962 and is a former Fox News legal analyst.
She previously served as an associate professor of law in The University of Washington Law School. She's also provided legal comments for Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor, and National Public Radio. She has appeared on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World with Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File is a show with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs, as well as the Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl, who was born and raised within Yakima in Washington State, matriculated in Yakima from West Valley High School. She has a degree from Barnard College (1983), an MA in Arts in Literary Studies from University of Queensland (1985), and she earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl worked as she was a US attorney in the United States. She was a legal correspondent for the NPR program All Things Considered. She was "the the deputy chief investigator for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee at the moment of Clinton's impeachment." She was a tenured professor of laws at the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001, and she directed in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was a Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
