Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the most outstanding athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became one of the U.S.'s first female gymnast ever to earn 4 gold medals. She also won the world championship for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles together with her sister Adria and Ronald Biles were taken in as infants by their grandparents from Houston. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics when she was when she was six years old during a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the following 11 years. Biles won the vault and floor exercise at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an highest level of competition in the year 2011. In less than two years, she was a dominant competitor in the sport. Biles was distinguished by her consistent performance, exuberant personality as well as the difficulty she encountered at each of the four events such as vault, uneven bars and balance beam.
